Equipment Collections
You can collect mobility aids from family and friends as well as calling local rehabilitation centers, hospitals or nursing homes to let them know about Push International. We accept donations of new and used mobility equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, canes, therapy equipment and related aids. Please see equipment collections to help collect equipment or to donate your equipment to someone in need.
All donations are tax deductible.
Wheelchair Sponsorship
After Push International receives a donated mobility aid we have to pick it up, refurbish it, and ship it to the country where we will be working. The cost for Push International to do this is $150.00 per wheelchair and $20.00 per walker or cane. You can sponsor equipment for someone with a disability abroad. If you desire, your name will appear on the chair when the recipient receives it! All donations are tax deductible. Please make your checks payable to Push International.
Wheelchair Distributions
Push International holds wheelchair distributions in Mazatlan, Mexico and surrounding areas. People with disabilities who have no means of obtaining a wheelchair are personally fitted in a wheelchair or mobility aid by trained professionals and volunteers. Mobility Clinics
Mobility Clinics are wheelchair maneuvering and skill building clinics that are held at Push International's Hubs.
Therapy and Rehabilitation
The Mazatlan Hub currently houses a therapy and rehabilitation center as well as a stable and arena for Equestrian Therapy. Push International always needs volunteers and trained professionals to teach new therapy techniques and train the staff and parents at our children's rehabilitation center. Transportation
Push International needs volunteers to assist in the transportation of mobility aids from around the country to our warehouses as well as shipping containers from our warehouses to the countries where we work. If you are able to help us in this way please contact us at info@pushinternational.org
General Fundraising
