I started working in the disabled community in 2001 and have been actively working ever since. Most of my background comes from volunteering with the University of Arizona's wheelchair sports program. I have had the opportunity to work with people with disabilities in Afghanistan, Costa Rica, El Salvador, and all over Mexico. I enjoy working with people who have been recently injured to help them regain independence in their daily life. I am currently finishing up my master's degree in Occupational Therapy and I hope to use what I learn to positively impact the personalized and sustainable services that we provide to people with disabilities in need.
